Solder cartridge tip conical 0.5 x 15.2 mm 302 °C STTC series - Metcal STTC-543

For soldering and rework on single pins and closely spaced leads, the STTC-543 cartridge from the Metcal STTC series provides a conical tip of 0.5 x 15.2 mm at a fixed working temperature of 302 °C. The heater sits inside the cartridge itself and the temperature is maintained inductively, so neither calibration nor readjustment is needed.

Applications

The cartridge is used at hand soldering benches in electronics production, repair and prototype work. The conical tip works on single pins, on QFP and SOIC leads as well as on wire links and fine pitch rework. The low tip temperature limits heat input into sensitive components and board material.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The STTC-543 cartridge fits the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E hand pieces and runs on the Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems.
