Rework tip quad for PLCC 32, 412 °C, SMTC series - Metcal SMTC-116

When a PLCC 32 comes off the board, every lead row has to reflow at the same moment, otherwise pads lift. The SMTC-116 rework tip of the SMTC series sits over the component as a closed square and delivers 412 °C to all four sides at once.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The tip runs with the Metcal MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E handpieces on MX series power units. Delivery covers one SMTC-116 rework tip, handpiece and power unit are not included.
