Soldering tip chisel 0.4 x 1 mm STTC series 485 °C - Metcal STTC-825

Fine leads on a ground plane cool the tip down before the solder flows. The Metcal STTC-825 is a chisel soldering cartridge with a 0.4 x 1 mm working face, 9.1 mm tip length and 485 °C tip temperature.

Applications

Fine soldering in electronics manufacturing, repair and prototyping, in particular on ceramic substrates and joints with a large thermal mass where the tip has to deliver heat continuously.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Fits the MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 soldering systems and the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E handpieces. The cartridge is changed without tools. Supplied as a single piece without handpiece and without power unit.
