SMD Spool Rack for Reels up to ø 250 mm, 450 x 240 mm, Conductive - Warmbier 5200.04.V.S.10

Reels waiting at an SMD placement line have to be stored upright, sorted and without electrostatic risk. This rack holds reels up to a maximum of ø 250 mm on a footprint of 450 x 240 mm, so every reel can be taken out individually instead of being unstacked.

• Carbon loaded polystyrene is conductive throughout its volume, so the dissipation property is part of the material and cannot be wiped off.
• Typical point to point resistance of 10^4 - 10^5 ohm places the rack in the conductive range and drains charges into the grounded environment.
• Ten movable separators are included, which lets the compartment widths follow the reel widths actually in use.
• The supplied label rail carries the part or job number directly at the compartment and shortens the search during changeover.
• Upright storage on 450 x 240 mm keeps the reels apart, so they are not stacked on each other and not deformed.

Application

The rack is used at the setup station of the placement line, in the picking area of the component store and on material trolleys inside the EPA. Since all charge draining aids in an EPA have to be connected to the common ground point, place the rack on a grounded worksurface or in a grounded shelf.
