A clogged prefilter cuts extraction volume and pushes the load onto the expensive main filter. The F7-02 filter mat is rated ISO ePM10 75% to ISO 16890 and traps solder fume particles ahead of the H13A combination filter cassette. Supplied as a pack of 10 for the LRA 160.1 MD.11 K and LRA 200.1 MD.20 K solder fume units.

Description
The prefilter is the wear part of a solder fume extraction unit: it captures cooled sticky aerosols and particles while they are still in the intake path, before they reach the HEPA and adsorption stages. In the solder fume units of the ULT 160.1 and 200.1 series the F7-02 mat is the finer layer of the M5/F7 mat combination ahead of the H13A combination filter cassette. Supplied as a pack of 10 so scheduled changes never wait for a reorder.

Applications
Servicing of solder fume extraction at manual soldering benches, at robotic soldering cells and in repair and rework areas. The change interval depends on flux volume and operating hours, the usual trigger is the particulate filter loading indicator on the unit.
