Adsorption filter cassette A6 complete series 160/200 - ULT 02.1.500

In processes involving solvents, adhesives or heavy flux vapours the activated carbon is the decisive element, and it must not be blinded by particles. This set therefore supplies both parts: the class G4 Z-Line prefilter and the A6 adsorption filter cassette for series 160/200 extraction units.

Technical data

How it works

Coarse dust particles are separated in the first filter stage. Gaseous and vaporous air contaminants are then retained in the activated carbon filter, where they attach to the carbon surface. In physical adsorption the adsorbed substance normally undergoes no chemical change. The filter design is matched to the nominal airflow of the units so that contact time is long enough for good adsorption behaviour.

Applications

ULT lists bonding, pretreatment, painting and printing, cleaning, laminating and casting as the fields of use for the ACD series. Soldering benches with heavy flux use come on top. Replacement is due as soon as odour becomes noticeable at the air outlet, because saturated carbon does not show up as a rise in differential pressure.
