X-Cut compact diagonal cutter VDE 1000 V, edges approx. 62 HRC, 160 mm - Knipex 73 06 160

Work on live parts calls for tested insulation, and at the same time the cutter should cope with hard wire. The KNIPEX X-Cut 73 06 160 combines both. The handles are tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for 1000 V, while the precision cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened to approx. 62 HRC and cut all types of wire including piano wire.

Electrical installation and switchgear manufacturing, maintenance on machines and plants, service inside distribution boards. Wherever live work is done and hard or piano wire still has to be cut, these pliers replace two tools.

Standards and conformity

The cutter complies with DIN ISO 5749 and is VDE tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900. According to the manufacturer it contains no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply to this product.
