Adsorption filter cassette A6 with 6 kg activated carbon for ACD 220 Ex - ULT 02.1.042

The A6 adsorption filter cassette is the main filter module of the ULT ACD 220 Ex extraction and filter units. Its 6 kg activated carbon fill binds gaseous and vapour-borne air pollutants by adsorption, meaning the substances accumulate on the surface of the activated carbon. The large fill height gives the loaded air stream a long contact time and therefore a high separation rate.

Rated airflow 200 m3/h at 900 Pa, maximum 420 m3/h and 1,100 Pa. Explosion-protected fan to ATEX Ex II 2 G c IIB T4, protection class IP 54, noise level 50 to 53 dB(A), intake through 2 ports of Alsident System 50 mm. The electrical operating and indicating elements sit in a separate switch unit so that no electrical ignition sources remain inside the unit.

Applications

Filter change on ULT ACD 220 Ex units used for bonding, pre-treatment, painting and printing, cleaning, laminating and casting, wherever solvent vapours, gases and odours are extracted in a potentially explosive area.
