The C470-038 soldering tip in special shape R6 with 10.4 x 2.5 mm and a 22 mm tinned area transfers a lot of heat to large soldering areas. It is rated for use up to 500 C with the HDE supply unit (formerly HD-4700) and intended for high-power soldering on the T470 soldering iron.
