Soldering tip bevelled 60°, 1.8 mm, short body, T series - Thermaltronics TM80BS602

A face ground at 60° holds a small pool of solder and delivers it as the tip touches down. With a tip length of only 6.4 mm the heater sits close to the working point, which makes this T series cartridge usable on thermally demanding joints.

Applications

Drag soldering of SOIC and QFP rows, joints on ground planes, connector pins and plated through holes, wicking away solder bridges.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Fits the SHP-T hand piece and therefore the Thermaltronics TMT-5000S-1 and TMT-5000S-2 induction soldering stations. Delivery covers one cartridge, the heating element is built in and is replaced together with the tip.

The cartridge is RoHS compliant and lead-free, which makes it suitable for the usual SAC lead-free solder alloys.
