A chisel blade meets pin and pad across its full width and therefore carries more heat than a cone of the same size. The TM80CB225 adds a 30° bend so that recessed or shadowed joints can be approached at a flat angle.

Applications
Soldering pin headers and cable terminations, rework on SOIC rows, connections inside flat enclosures and behind front panels.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Fits the SHP-T hand piece and therefore the Thermaltronics TMT-5000S-1 and TMT-5000S-2 induction soldering stations. Delivery covers one cartridge, the heating element is built in and is replaced together with the tip.
The cartridge is RoHS compliant and lead-free, which makes it suitable for the usual SAC lead-free solder alloys.
