Pre-filter pleated 90 percent down to 0.4 µm for AD 180 and AD 400 - Donaldson Bofa A1030045

On a Bofa AD 180 or AD 400 the pre-filter is the element that controls running costs: it holds back dust, flux aerosols and coarse fume particles so the downstream HEPA and gas filter reaches its full rated life. The A1030045 uses a pleated fibreglass medium and removes 90 percent of particles down to 0.4 µm.

Applications

The pre-filter is used in centralised and bench-side solder fume extraction at hand soldering positions, rework stations and selective soldering machines. It also takes up the coarse load from bonding and potting work that generates aerosols. Change intervals follow the filter condition indicator of the unit and the load at the workplace.

Suitable for the Bofa AD 180, AD 400 and AD 500 extraction units. Supplied as one A1030045 pre-filter, replaceable without tools. Main and gas filters are ordered separately.
