The kit turns an extraction unit into a complete capture position: extraction arm of 60 mm diameter and 1.5 m total length, ALFA funnel nozzle and mounting clamp. The funnel nozzle is placed close above the solder joint and takes the fume away before it reaches the breathing zone. The arm holds the position it is set to.

Applications
Hand soldering benches, rework and repair where solder fume has to be captured precisely at source. Equally suitable for bonding and dispensing tasks with solvent vapours, provided the connected extraction unit carries the appropriate filter.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Scope of delivery is the extraction arm of 60 mm diameter, the ALFA funnel nozzle and the mounting clamp. The extraction unit with matching 60 mm connection, for example from the Zero Smog series, is ordered separately. The kit is not designed as ESD safe.
