Anyone landing fine-stranded conductors on screw or spring terminals must keep the wire end from splaying apart. This non-insulated ferrule for 16 mm² gathers the single strands into one dimensionally stable end and is made to DIN 46228. With 100 pieces the pack covers longer wiring runs as well.

Areas of use

Electrical installation, control cabinet and control system building and machine service, wherever fine-stranded 16 mm² conductors are landed on terminal blocks, motor protection switches or device connections. The non-insulated version is the first choice when the plastic collar of an insulated ferrule leaves no room inside the terminal.

Standards and conformity

The ferrule is made to DIN 46228 and is UL certified. According to the manufacturer it contains no substances of very high concern under REACH and it complies with the RoHS directive.
