Cable knife with straight blade and plastic coated blade back, 50 mm blade, VDE insulated, 190 mm - Knipex 98 54

In tight distribution boards a live busbar often sits right next to the cable being stripped. The 98 54 cable knife therefore has a plastic coated blade back that avoids short circuits, and it cuts with a solid fixed blade 50 mm long with a straight cutting edge.

Standards and conformity

The knife is tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for insulated hand tools used for live working. According to the manufacturer it contains no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply to this product.
