PT BB9 Soldering Tip Round Bevelled 2.4 mm, 480°C MAGNASTAT - Weller PT BB9

The PT BB9 is a Weller Longlife soldering tip for the Magnastat system. A ferromagnetic sensor regulates the tip to its fixed 480°C working temperature: as the sensor nears its Curie point the heater switches off, and as the tip cools it switches back on. It is supplied with a PT9-LT adapter and a 480°C tip sleeve.

Technical data

Applications

For high heat-demand soldering on Magnastat-controlled irons. Not suitable for ESD-safe applications as the iron is not antistatic.
