Multilayer assemblies take damage during desoldering when only the joint sees heat and the rest of the board stays cold. The PHSMK-2KA set places a preheating plate with 800 W peak power and a 130 x 135 mm heating area under the board and holds it in any position on a multi-axis rotary holder.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Delivered are one PHSE preheating plate, one PSS multi-axis rotary holder, two PH218 type K thermal sensors and one PH217 Kapton tape. The manufacturer lists P005, RHS, RWT, RWS, RHT, PHST, HRL, HRR, P405, PH223 and PH222 as matching accessories.
