ESD Adhesion Primer HP-S for AstraStat Type S, 1K, 400 ml - Statech Systems

On smooth plastics an ESD paint only bonds to a limited degree. The HP-S primer provides the interlayer that holds AstraStat type S in place, and it stays translucent silver so the primed area can be checked by eye.

• Type: single-component solvent-based adhesion primer
• Shade: transparent silver, translucent
• Content: 400 ml aerosol can
• Coverage: approx. 2.5 m² per can at max. 20 micron dry film
• Build-up: 2 to 3 passes of 3 to 5 micron each
• Flash-off between passes: 2 to 3 minutes
• Drying: dust dry after 5 to 10 minutes, ready to overcoat after about 10 minutes
• Application from +10 °C up to 80 percent relative humidity
• VOC content: max. 757 g/l, EU limit category B/e 840 g/l
• Shelf life: 2 years, closed, cool and dry

Applications

Used before coating plastic bins, workpiece carriers, housings and panels with AstraStat type S ESD paint. Pre-clean the substrate with silicone remover, it has to be clean, dry and free of grease.

How to apply

• Shake the can until the mixing balls are clearly audible
• Spray from 20 to 30 cm in thin layers
• After use turn the can upside down and spray the nozzle clear
