Stripping cable every day calls for a sharp edge without buying a new knife each time. The 98 56 cable knife therefore works with a replaceable straight blade of 50 mm length and special sharpening, backed by a hinged blade guard that is integrated captive in the handle.

The knife is tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for insulated hand tools used for live working. According to the manufacturer it contains no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply to this product.
