ESD Spray Paint AstraStat Type S 2K PU 400 ml, RAL 1023 traffic yellow - Statech Systems

Insulating shelves, bins and table tops can be made dissipative with AstraStat type S without replacing them. The two-component polyurethane paint carries its hardener inside the can, stays workable for about 5 hours after activation and dries to a satin, abrasion-resistant film.

Applications

For storage racks, trolleys, table surfaces, drawer units, workpiece carriers and containers in the EPA. Steel and aluminium can be coated as well when a soft discharge is wanted instead of a hard ground path. Traffic yellow works as a signal colour for EPA boundaries, staging areas and hazard zones.

How to apply

• Prepare the substrate clean, dry and free of grease
• Shake the can for about 3 minutes, spray from 20 to 30 cm
• On plastics such as ABS, PA, PC, POM, PP/EPDM, PPO, PUR and PVC apply the 4S-HP-S primer first
• During breaks turn the can upside down and spray the nozzle clear

Standards and notes

Surface resistance measured to IEC 61340-2-3, use inside an EPA to IEC 61340-5-1. For professional use only. The can is pressurised, keep it out of sunlight and above 50 °C. Empty cans do not belong in household waste.
