Cable shears VDE insulated 1000 V, copper cable up to 16 mm dia., 230 mm - Knipex 95 06 230

A crushed cable end raises the contact resistance in the terminal and with it the heat. The VDE tested 95 06 230 cable shears cut multi-stranded copper cable up to 16 mm dia. with hardened, precision-ground blades, without crushing and with only slight deformation of the cable, insulated for work up to 1000 V.

Areas of use

Electrical installation, control cabinet building, power distribution and maintenance, including work on or close to live parts up to 1000 V. Not suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors.

Standards and conformity

The cable shears comply with DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 and are tested as a VDE tool for 1000 V. According to the manufacturer they contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply to this product.
