Cable shears with twin cutting edge, VDE 1000 V, copper and aluminium cables up to Ø 20 mm, 200 mm - Knipex 95 16 200

Cutting a Ø 20 mm cable with one hand usually fails on sheer force. The 95 16 200 cable shears split the job, the insulating sheath is cut in the front cutting area and the conductor in the rear one, and they do it with VDE tested insulated handles for 1000 V.

Areas of use

Electrical installation, switchgear and plant construction as well as maintenance, wherever work is carried out on or close to live parts up to 1000 V. According to the manufacturer the shears are not suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors.

Standards and conformity

The insulated handles are tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 and approved for work on live parts up to 1000 V AC. According to the manufacturer the shears contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply.
