In distribution boards and terminal compartments the conductors sit close together and the tool has to be insulated. The 08 26 185 needle-nose combination pliers have insulated handles with multi-component sleeves to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900, reach between tightly packed components with their pointed jaws and cut hard wire up to 3.0 mm dia. as well as multi-stranded copper cable up to 25.0 mm².

Standards and conformity
The pliers comply with DIN ISO 5746 and with DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for insulated hand tools used for live working. According to the manufacturer they contain no substances of very high concern under REACH, and the RoHS directive does not apply to this product.
