SCS ESD shielding and moisture barrier bag, 102 x 152 mm, film thickness 0.107 mm

Electronics that are sensitive to both moisture and ESD need two kinds of protection at once: a barrier against water vapour and a Faraday cage against external discharges. This moisture barrier bag in 102 x 152 mm combines both in a silver multilayer film, 0.1067 mm thick, with a defined water vapour transmission rate. The small format wraps a single part closely, so the bag can be sealed or vacuum packed with little residual air.

Applications

Suited to single ICs, memory chips, sensors and small modules, for example shipping individual spare parts, retained samples and storing partly used component quantities. The bag protects the contents outside the ESD protected area as well, in storage and in transit.
