ESD shielding and moisture barrier bag PET/MET/PE, 355 x 457 mm

This 355 x 457 mm bag combines two protective functions. The metallised middle layer shields against electrostatic discharge with a shielding energy below 10 nJ, while the PET/MET/PE laminate forms a barrier against water vapour. This lets you pack larger assemblies, plug-in cards and PCBs with extra cushioning dry and ESD-safe.

Applications

The 355 x 457 mm format suits larger assemblies, plug-in cards and PCBs packed with additional cushioning. The 457 mm height leaves enough margin after loading for a clean seal seam. In practice the bag is used for shipping and interim storage of moisture-sensitive electronics, filled with desiccant and a humidity indicator card, then vacuum packed or sealed directly.
