Description
This 305 x 406 mm bag combines two protective functions. The metallised middle layer shields against electrostatic discharge with a shielding energy below 10 nJ, while the PET/MET/PE laminate forms a barrier against water vapour. This lets you pack populated PCBs and mid-sized assemblies such as controller boards or mainboards dry and ESD-safe.

Applications
The 305 x 406 mm format holds populated PCBs and mid-sized assemblies, for example controller boards, mainboards or modules with connectors. Typical uses are shipping to customers, storing moisture-sensitive components between two soldering steps and moving parts between production sites. For moisture protection the bag is usually filled together with desiccant and a humidity indicator card, then vacuum packed or sealed directly.
