ESD chair castor, hard tread for soft floors, conductive, pack of 1 - A1-ESD EP0805074

An ESD work chair only drains the operator charge to the floor if the castors are conductive as well and match the floor covering. This castor is of conductive design and has a hard tread intended for soft floors such as carpet. On textile flooring it rolls instead of sinking in and slowing the chair down.

Application

The castor is used on ESD work chairs inside the EPA, for instance at assembly, test and rework benches in electronics manufacturing, where the working area is laid with carpet or another soft covering. Typical cases are the replacement of individual worn castors and the conversion of a chair that moves from a hard to a soft floor covering. Check the socket of the existing chair before ordering, because the castor is supplied as a spare part without an adapter. For hard floors such as PVC and coated screed the range includes a soft castor.
