ESD shielding and moisture barrier bag PET/MET/PE, 203 x 254 mm

Moisture-sensitive devices need two barriers: one against electrostatic fields and one against water vapour. This bag in 203 x 254 mm combines both in a PET/MET/PE laminate with a thickness of 0.09 mm. It is sized for larger PCBs, assemblies and plug-in boards. The wide format takes flat boards that do not fit the narrower bags of the range.

Applications

The bag is used to store and ship larger PCBs, assemblies and plug-in boards outside the EPA. It is usually filled together with desiccant and a humidity indicator card, then vacuum packed and heat-sealed. The range is available in other formats as well.
