High work chairs at sit-stand positions should not roll away while the operator climbs on and off. This glide replaces the castor in the chair base and puts the chair firmly on the floor. It is of conductive design, so the path from the seat through the base to the grounded floor stays closed even without a castor.

Application

The glide is used inside the EPA on high work chairs, for example at sit-stand workplaces in electronics manufacturing, at test and measuring benches and on assembly lines with a raised working height. A secure stance matters more than mobility there, because the operator gets on and off frequently. A chair base is equipped completely, so the quantity required follows the number of sockets on the particular chair. If the chair has to become mobile again later, the range allows a conversion back to the conductive castors for hard or soft floors.
