Table system including cable tray
Workplaces QUADRO
The Karl Quadro base element with cable tray and lid differs from the open cable-entry variant by a hinged lid that fully covers the cable tray and creates a closed table front. The cabling principle is the same: cables are routed beneath the worksurface in a sheet-steel tray. Base elements are available in widths of 1300, 1650 and 2135 mm at a depth of 880 mm; column height is selectable at 1000, 1600 or 2200 mm.
| Width | Depth | Column height | Version |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1300 mm | 880 mm | 1000 / 1600 / 2200 mm | Standard (.13-.18) and ESD (.22-.28) |
| 1650 mm | 880 mm | 1000 mm | Standard (.14-.18) and ESD (.22-.28) |
| 2135 mm | 880 mm | 1000 mm | ESD (.24-.28) |
The lid version is preferred over the open cable-entry variant where a consistent visual appearance in the working area matters, for example in laboratories, cleanrooms or high-profile production environments. Cable accessibility is maintained by simply opening the lid.
Typical applications: laboratories and test rooms with requirements for a tidy appearance, medical device and cleanroom workstations where open cable trays are hygienically undesirable, row workstations in electronics assembly (DIN EN 61340-5-1), and training or demonstration workstations where a professional appearance is required.
