In warm halls ventilation decides whether a safety shoe is worn through the shift or taken off at the door. The SL 465 XP blue 2.0 is cut more openly than a low shoe and still remains a full S1P build to EN ISO 20345, with an alu-tec toe cap rated for 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression and a metal-free XP penetration insert. Just as important for electronics production: it is ESD compliant to DIN EN 61340-5-1.
What this model delivers on the floor
- Charge is drained instead of discharged. The shoe is ESD compliant to DIN EN 61340-5-1. That standard requires the person, footwear and floor system inside an EPA to stay below 100 MΩ, and the antistatic level of EN ISO 20345 sits between 0.1 and 1000 MΩ. In practice: no component killed by a discharge on the way from the bench to the machine.
- S1P in plain words: closed heel, antistatic, 20 joules of energy absorption in the heel area and, on top of that, penetration resistance. The right level for dry indoor areas without carrying the weight of an S3 build.
- Open cut, closed heel. A sandal puts far less material against the foot, while protection class S1P requires the heel area to be closed. The clima-stream concept moves air through the shoe and the aktiv-X functional lining regulates moisture.
- Aluminium toe cap instead of steel. The alu-tec cap passes the same EN ISO 20345 test at 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression, weighs less and forms no cold bridge inside the shoe.
- Metal-free penetration resistance. The XP aramid textile insert withstands the 1100 newton test nail, stays flexible and leaves the foot its natural torsion. Metal-free also means no cold bridge and no alarm at a metal detector.
- Cushioning for long hours on the feet. The MPU INNOFLEX outsole guides force along the INNOFLEX LINE from heel to toe, the CLOUDZONE in the heel catches the impact, and the 3D cushioning system of pressure-relieving insole and responsive MPU works against the load.
- Toe guard against wear. A carbon fibre reinforced toe guard sits over the cap and covers exactly the spot that wears through first during kneeling work. That extends the service life of the shoe without adding weight at the forefoot.
- SportLine textile upper: air-permeable, hydrophobic and quick-drying. On a sandal that combination fits, because it ventilates in summer and does not soak through immediately when floors are wet or splashed.
- Width 10 is the standard width of this range and fits most of a workforce, which keeps procurement for a whole department simple.

Areas of use
Electronics production and test benches inside the EPA, assembly and order picking in warm halls, workshop and indoor storage, summer months and areas near ovens or wave soldering lines. Wherever dissipative footwear with penetration resistance is required and a closed low shoe gets too warm.
Standards and conformity
EN ISO 20345, protection class S1P, slip resistance SRC. SRC means the shoe passed both the ceramic tile test with detergent and the steel floor test with glycerine, a marking that belongs to the EN ISO 20345:2011 edition. ESD compliant in the sense of DIN EN 61340-5-1. Personal protective equipment of risk category II under Regulation (EU) 2016/425, CE marked. Approved for orthopaedic insoles under DGUV rule 112-191. The marking inside the shoe is what counts. Made by the ATLAS shoe factory in Dortmund.

This item covers EU sizes 35 to 50. The width is fixed at width 10 (standard), the size is selected when ordering. One pair is supplied.
