ESD low safety shoe CX 505 S1P, SportLine textile, width 10, black - Atlas 34600

The CX 505 ESD is a low safety shoe for operations where people move between production, lab and meeting room. It belongs to the ATLAS CITY STYLE series, meets protection class S1P to EN ISO 20345:2012 and carries an anatomically shaped steel toe cap that protects the toes against at least 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression.

What sets this model apart

• Charge dissipation first. The shoe is ESD compliant and routes the wearer static charge through the sole to ground in a controlled way instead of letting it build up on the body. Inside an EPA to DIN EN 61340-5-1 that is the precondition for no component failing from a discharge on the way between workbench and machine.
• S1P in plain words. S1 means a closed heel area, antistatic construction and an energy-absorbing heel region, the P adds the penetration-resistant midsole. Here it is a stainless steel midsole, matched to the shape of the last and foamed into the midsole material.
• City Style sole system. An MPU midsole, biomechanically placed flex grooves and an 8 mm heel give a sole that works on hard industrial floors as well as on office flooring. Slip resistance is rated SRC.
• SportLine upper. The textile fabric is highly air-permeable and breathable. Its hydrophobic finish makes it water-repellent, quick-drying and hard-wearing.
• Climate and cushioning. The clima-stream concept of breathable upper, thermo-regulating lining and Klima Komfort insole balances moisture inside the shoe. The MPU REBOUND SYSTEM combines a pressure-relieving insole with the light MPU sole technology.
• Discreetly black. The shoe is black throughout and does not read as a safety shoe in a cleanroom coat or in a business setting. That makes plant-wide rollout easier, because staff wear it outside production too.
