Safety shoes get taken off again by the dozen because the standard width pinches. That is why the XP 435 also comes in width 12, the extra wide fit, with nothing missing from its protection. It stays an S3S low shoe with a penetration resistant sole, a waterproof leather upper and an ESD build to DIN EN 61340-5-1 that drains the wearer's charge under control instead of letting it reach the assembly.

What the shoe delivers in an EPA

• Charge dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1. For its ESD marked models Atlas guarantees a resistance below 100 megohms, measured person to shoe to floor. The plain antistatic requirement of EN ISO 20345 allows anything between 0.1 and 1000 megohms. Anyone handling assemblies needs the tighter figure.
• Safety class S3S in plain words. Closed seat region, antistatic construction, energy absorbing heel area and a protective toe cap, plus a penetration resistant sole, a water resistant upper and a cleated outsole. That makes the shoe usable outside the hall as well.

• MPU INNOFLEX sole with a CLOUDZONE in the heel. The multifunctional polyurethane midsole takes up the impact forces and returns part of the energy into the next step.
