ESD Safety Low Shoe FLASH 2005 XP S1PS, width 12, mesh upper, black/grey - Atlas 43212

A safety shoe that is too narrow does not widen by being worn in. It presses at the ball of the foot and the toe joint until it ends up staying in the locker. This version of the FLASH 2005 XP ESD is therefore built in width 12 and keeps the full protection package of the standard width. S1PS, metal free penetration resistance, aluminium toe cap and ESD equipment to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

What this model delivers

• Width 12 instead of standard width 10. The wider last creates room in the forefoot without adding length. That is the difference between buying a size too large and a shoe that actually fits. Safety class and equipment are identical to width 10.
• Metal free penetration resistance. XP technology uses a high tech textile with aramid fibres to protect against nails and splinters. It adds almost no weight, supports the natural torsion of the foot and cannot be felt at the ball of the foot the way a steel midsole can.
• 200 joules from the alu-tec cap. The anatomically shaped aluminium cap passes the EN ISO 20345:2022 test at 200 joules impact energy and 15 kN compression. It is lighter than steel, shifts the centre of gravity towards the middle of the foot and stays thermally neutral.
• MPU INNOFLEX for long distances. CLOUDZONE in the heel, INNOFLEX LINE to guide the forces, energy absorbing MPU tread surfaces. The sole carries the additional SR marking and is therefore tested on ceramic tile with glycerine.
• ESD equipment inside the protected area. The wearer's charge drains continuously through the dissipative floor instead of building up until the hand reaches the assembly. That is the job the shoe does in the protection concept to DIN EN 61340-5-1.
• Climate and service life. Mesh upper, clima-stream concept and aktiv-X functional lining keep the foot climate in balance. The carbon fibre reinforced toe guard slows the wear at the toe. The MPU REBOUND SYSTEM relieves the foot and insoles to DGUV Rule 112-191 are approved.
