At workplaces where people stand and walk all day, the weight on the foot decides how the evening feels. The GX 130 black 2.0 is an ESD compliant ladies low shoe in protection class S1 to EN ISO 20345:2012, built on the Atlas women's fit last. The SportLine fabric weighs less than leather and stays air-permeable, while the steel cap withstands the required 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression. Together with the aktiv-X functional lining and the Klima Komfort insole, the clima-stream concept keeps the foot climate stable.
Why this model
- Dissipate the charge, do not collect it. The shoe is ESD compliant. Measured by the person-shoe-floor method of DIN EN 61340-5-1, the resistance stays below 100 MOhm, so the wearer charge drains to ground in a controlled way. In practice that means no component fails from a discharge on the walk between bench and machine. The plain antistatic requirement of EN ISO 20345, 100 kOhm to 1000 MOhm, does not cover this. It protects the person, not the electronics.
- S1 in plain words. A closed heel area, antistatic construction and a heel region that absorbs impact energy, plus the toe cap that every protection class of EN ISO 20345 requires. For dry indoor areas such as production, test benches and stores, that is the right level of equipment.
- SportLine fabric for lasting breathability. The upper is built from textile fibres and is notably air-permeable. It weighs less than leather, stays breathable and follows every movement of the foot without pressing at the ball or the instep.
- Steel toe cap with a 200 joule margin. The anatomically shaped steel toe cap withstands at least 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression to EN ISO 20345. It is the toughest of the cap variants and forgives the hard knock against a rack foot or a trolley.
- SPORTY LIGHT sole for the female foot. The sole technology is calculated for the lower weight and the different roll-off of a woman foot and relies on soft bedding rather than plain stiffness. Together with the 3D cushioning system of a pressure-relieving insole and a responsive MPU sole, the stride stays springy into the eighth hour.
- women's fit instead of a shrunk men last. The last is calculated for the anatomy of a female foot rather than scaled down from a men model. Narrower heel, a different instep line, softer bedding in the footbed. The model is approved for orthopaedic insoles to DGUV rule 112-191, the marking inside the shoe is decisive.

Areas of use
Electronics manufacturing, placement and final assembly, test and measurement benches, laboratory, order picking and stores inside the EPA. The light textile fabric suits heated halls and long periods of standing. In wet areas or outdoors, a closed leather model in class S2 or S3 is preferable.
