ESD safety low shoe CX 345 S3 SRC, full grain cowhide, width 10 - Atlas 79900

Anyone walking between soldering, test and placement stations in electronics manufacturing carries a charge. The CX 345 drains it in a controlled way: Atlas guarantees a resistance below 100 MOhm for the person, shoe and floor measuring chain to DIN EN 61340-5-1. No component then reaches the test bench with a discharge defect nobody can trace. At the same time the shoe remains a full S3 safety low shoe to EN ISO 20345.

What sets this model apart

• ESD dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1 with a resistance below 100 MOhm. The antistatic band of the shoe standard EN ISO 20345 runs from 10 to the power of 5 ohms (100 kOhm) to 10 to the power of 9 ohms (1000 MOhm), and the ESD shoe deliberately sits in the lower third of that band.
• Safety class S3 in plain words: closed heel section, antistatic build, energy absorbing heel area, water repellent upper, penetration resistant midsole and a cleated outsole.
• Anatomically shaped steel toe cap, tested to 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression to EN ISO 20345. Added to that the steel penetration resistant midsole against nails and swarf.
• Upper in soft full grain cowhide from the company's own leather processing. It feels soft from day one and keeps its shape even when the shoe is worked for eight hours straight.
• MPU REBOUND SYSTEM built from a pressure relieving replaceable insole with heel cushioning and a responsive MPU sole structure. The City Style sole system uses biomechanically placed flex notches at the forefoot and an 8 mm heel, and stays light and flexible.
• aktiv-X functional lining regulates moisture actively and permanently, does not stain and resists abrasion. Under DGUV rule 112-191 the model is released for orthopaedic insole provision, the marking sits inside the shoe.

Electronics manufacturing and assembly with an EPA to DIN EN 61340-5-1, test and measurement, repair and service, warehousing and picking inside the ESD area. Thanks to the restrained look of the City Style series the shoe also works where production and office meet. For permanently wet outdoor areas a model with an outdoor sole is the better choice.
