ESD safety low shoe TX 42 S2, soft nubuck leather, width 12, black and blue - Atlas 84812

In goods receipt and pre assembly the floor is rarely dry. The TX 42 is the Atlas ESD low shoe for exactly that corner of production, with water repellent nubuck leather and safety class S2. Measured as the person, shoe and floor system to DIN EN 61340-5-1, the through resistance stays below 100 MOhm.

EN ISO 20345 allows antistatic footwear anywhere between 100 kOhm and 1000 MOhm. For the ESD version Atlas additionally guarantees the narrower value below 100 MOhm, which is what an EPA set up to DIN EN 61340-5-1 asks for.

What sets this model apart

• Safety class S2 to EN ISO 20345 means a closed heel area, antistatic construction, energy absorbing heel and an upper tested against water penetration and water absorption. Spilled cleaner or a damp shop floor is no reason to change shoes.
• The upper is soft nubuck leather. Atlas works selected cattle hides for it, so the leather stays supple and needs hardly any breaking in.
• Toe cap to EN ISO 20345, tested at 200 joules of impact energy.
• The INNOFLEX System is designed as a complete outsole concept and supports the foot through every phase of roll off. Together with the MPU REBOUND SYSTEM it gives cushioning that stays low fatigue over long standing and walking distances.
• aktiv-X functional lining keeps regulating moisture, does not stain and resists abrasion. The shoe is approved for orthopaedic insoles to DGUV rule 112-191, the marking inside the shoe is decisive.
• This article is the extra wide width 12. It is meant for feet that still find the already generous standard width 10 tight across the ball, and it saves buying a size too long as a workaround.

Goods receipt, order picking and storage inside the EPA, pre assembly and board production, test and repair benches, maintenance in electronics manufacturing. For areas with nails or swarf on the floor a model with penetration resistance is the better choice, the TX 42 has none.
