ESD safety low shoe CX 320 S2, cowhide leather, width 10, black - Atlas 43700

Technical sales, quality assurance and service offices need a shoe that works with a suit and still counts as safety footwear. The CX 320 from the City Style series does both, drains the wearer's charge below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1 and protects the toes with a steel cap rated for 200 joules.

Why this model

• No component damage on the way to the machine. A dry shop floor is enough to build a charge that quietly degrades an assembly. This shoe keeps the person, shoe and floor resistance below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1 and drains that charge in a controlled way.
• 200 joule toe protection under plain leather. The anatomically shaped steel toe cap protects against 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression to EN ISO 20345:2012. From the outside the shoe still reads as a business shoe.
• Safety class S2 in plain words. Everything from S1, so closed heel area, antistatic properties, energy absorption in the heel and a fuel oil resistant outsole, plus an upper that resists water penetration and water absorption. A spilled cup or a wet yard no longer costs a working day.
• Cushioning where the day gets long. MPU sole technology and the 3D cushioning system relieve heel and forefoot. The replaceable insole with heel cushioning takes the impact of hard industrial floors and can be swapped for an orthopaedic insole.
• Soft leather instead of a stiff shaft. Atlas uses soft full-grain cowhide that adapts to the foot over time. The aktiv-X functional lining regulates moisture, dries quickly, does not stain and resists abrasion.
• Width 10, cut wider than usual. Atlas builds even the standard width 10 on a broad, foot-friendly last, so the foot gets more room than on a normally cut last.

The shoe suits environments where appearance and protection meet. Typical places of use are technical sales and customer visits, quality assurance and plant tours, service offices and test bays, electronics manufacturing and EPA workstations as well as warehouse and goods receipt. The water repellent upper also covers short outdoor routes. For floors with penetration risk, choose a class with penetration resistance.

Certified to EN ISO 20345:2012 in safety class S2 with slip resistance SRC, tested on ceramic tile with detergent and on steel with glycerol. Personal protective equipment of risk category II under Regulation (EU) 2016/425. ESD marking to DIN EN 61340-5-1. Approved for orthopaedic insoles to DGUV rule 112-191.
