Superform/AF cutting, bending and preforming machine, reinforced, without die - Iteco 7915096

Thick leads put far more load on tracking wheels, knives and preforming dies than thin ones. The reinforced Superform/AF is built for exactly that duty: it processes lead diameters from 0.8 to 1 mm while keeping the same sequence of cutting, U-bending and mechanically synchronised preforming.

Benefits in operation

• Reinforced build for lead diameters of 0.8 to 1 mm, where the standard machine stops at 0.9 mm.
• Minimum body to bend distance C of 1.5 mm, matched to the larger component bodies.
• Same output as the standard machine at up to 7,000 components per hour.
• Preforming step can be switched off, the machine then runs as a plain cutting and U-bending machine.
• Can be upgraded to motor operation with Iteco 7915032 (230 V) or 7915033 (115 V), BR6 reel holder and CS40 feeder fit unchanged.

Typical applications

Preparing heavy axial parts such as power resistors, rectifier diodes and chokes, series production with mixed lead diameters, plants running the preforming machine at high utilisation.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The machine comes without a preforming die. The catalogue lists dies Iteco 420750 (stand-off), 420950 (lock-in) and 420900 (reduced pitch) for the reinforced version. Up to 0.9 mm lead diameter the standard machine Iteco 7915095 is sufficient, for 1 to 1.3 mm the extra reinforced Iteco 7915097 with dies 430700 and 430900 applies.
