Components with heavier leads need a die that still forms a clean lock-in at 1 mm wire. The Iteco 420950 die assembly covers the 0.6 to 1 mm range on the Superform/AF and shapes stand-off and lock-in in a single pass.
Features
- Lead diameters 0.6 to 0.9 mm on the standard machine 7915.095 and 0.8 to 1 mm on the reinforced machine 7915.096.
- Covers the lead range above the sister assembly 420850, which stops at 0.8 mm.
- Lead length below the bend z up to 4.5 mm, which is 0.5 mm more than on 420850 and suits thicker boards.
- Body height H of 4.5 to 11 mm above the board, depending on the machine version.
- Lead pitch P from 10.5 to 61 mm, component body up to 50 mm long and 8 mm in diameter.

Applications
Power resistors, chokes and rectifier diodes with heavy leads that have to stay firmly seated in the hole ahead of wave soldering.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
The die assembly belongs to the Superform/AF cutting, bending and preforming machine. Machine accessories are the motor unit Iteco 7915.032 at 230 V or Iteco 7915.033 at 115 V, the BR6 tape reel holder Iteco 7915.185 and the CS40 feeder Iteco 7915.184 for loose components. Supplied as a set of two preforming groups, the machine itself is not included.
