On densely populated boards the usual lead pitch of 10.5 mm is often no longer available. The Iteco 420900 die assembly forms a reduced pitch from 8 mm on the Superform/AF and offsets the lead ends inwards by a pitch step E of 1.27 mm.
Features
- Lead pitch P from 8 to 59 mm, which is 2.5 mm tighter than on the stand-off assemblies 420750 and 420800.
- Pitch step E of 1.27 mm, the common one twentieth inch grid of the drilled board.
- Lead diameters 0.5 to 0.9 mm on the standard machine 7915.095 and 0.8 to 1 mm on the reinforced machine 7915.096.
- The component body stays supported and sits 5 to 12 mm above the board.
- Component body up to 50 mm long and 8 mm in diameter, machine output up to 7000 components per hour.

Applications
Rework of densely packed assemblies, repair and small batch production to a given drilling pattern where the component spacing cannot be chosen freely.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
The die assembly belongs to the Superform/AF cutting, bending and preforming machine. Machine accessories are the motor unit Iteco 7915.032 at 230 V or Iteco 7915.033 at 115 V, the BR6 tape reel holder Iteco 7915.185 and the CS40 feeder Iteco 7915.184 for loose components. Supplied as a set of two preforming groups, the machine itself is not included.
