Retrofit kit for micro-adjustment of the preforming height for Supercut/RS4 - Iteco 160300

When loose radial components are preformed, the height of the curl decides the distance at which the component later sits on the board. This retrofit kit adds a micro-adjustment of the preforming height to the pneumatic Supercut/RS4, so the dimension can be trimmed on the machine instead of sourcing another die for every deviation.

Applications

The kit pays off wherever one RS4 serves several assemblies with different component heights, for example when capacitors of varying body size are placed with a stand-off, or when an existing die has to be matched to a new board layout.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The kit is supplied for retrofitting to the Supercut/RS4, Iteco 7915166. The component holder kit Iteco 160200 and the three cylinder conversion kit Iteco 7915167 are available in addition. The dies of the RS4 carry numbers from Iteco 160600 to Iteco 163100.
