Superform/AF cutting, bending and preforming machine for axial components, extra reinforced, without die - Iteco 7915097

Components that have to stand off the board or lock into it need more than a cut and a U bend. The Superform/AF does both in one sequence: it first cuts and bends the taped axial component to the set dimensions, then the feed stops briefly while two preforming assemblies grip the leads and form them according to the die fitted. This item is the extra reinforced version of the range and is supplied without a preforming die.

• Extra reinforced version - the strongest of the three build levels 7915.095 standard, 7915.096 reinforced and 7915.097 extra reinforced.
• Purely mechanical preforming - the feed stops while both preforming assemblies close, which keeps the position of the form repeatable.
• Preforming can be switched off - one setting leaves the machine cutting and U bending only.
• Cut, bend and form position adjustable - all three parameters are set separately.
• Up to 7,000 pieces per hour - with motor unit 7915.032 or 7915.033 the sequence runs automatically.
• Form changed by die - dies 430.700 and 430.900 are the ones listed for the extra reinforced version.

Applications

Preparing axial components with leads of 1 to 1.3 mm for stand off mounting, for assembly at reduced pitch and wherever the part has to sit firmly on the board before soldering. Typical parts are power resistors, chokes and rectifier diodes in the larger packages.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The matching dies are 430.700 for the stand off form and 430.900 for the stand off form at reduced pitch, both for leads of 1 to 1.3 mm. Iteco offers the BR6 reel holder (7915.185), the CS40 feeder for loose components (7915.184) and the motor unit in 230 V (7915.032) or 115 V (7915.033) as accessories. The machine is delivered without a preforming die, which has to be ordered separately. Made in Italy.
