Straight Ground Cord 1.5 m, 10 mm Socket to 4 mm Banana Plug, 1 Megohm - Desco 230385

A work mat only protects when it is reliably grounded. This 1.5 m straight cord connects the 10 mm stud of the mat to the ground point. The 10 mm socket contains a 1 megohm resistor (1 x 10⁶ ohms), and the other end carries a 4 mm banana plug for the 4 mm jack of an earth bonding plug (EBP).

Standards

Under IEC 61340-5-1 all conductive and dissipative items in an EPA are bonded to a common ground point, as described in the IEC TR 61340-5-2 user guide. Check ground connections periodically.
