Straight Ground Cord 0.7 m, 10 mm Socket to M5 Ring Terminal, 1 Megohm - Desco 230480

A work mat only protects when it is reliably grounded. This 0.7 m straight cord connects the 10 mm stud of the mat to the ground point. The 10 mm socket contains a 1 megohm resistor (1 x 10⁶ ohms), and the other end carries a M5 ring terminal for a secure screw connection to a ground bus or earth terminal.

Under IEC 61340-5-1 all conductive and dissipative items in an EPA are bonded to a common ground point, as described in the IEC TR 61340-5-2 user guide. Check ground connections periodically.
