Slim EBP Bar with 3 x 10 mm Stud, 16.5 mm Deep, Yellow, 3 m Ground Cord - Desco 231345

Many workbenches have a narrow edge that a standard EBP bar will not fit under. This slim version is only 16.5 mm deep, so it can be installed on benches with an overhang from 16 mm. Three 10 mm studs take the wrist strap coiled cord, the bench mat and a third connection for a guest or a trolley.

Applications

Install underneath the bench top, within reach of all ground cords and where it will not be knocked or hinder the operator. Connect the ground cord to a suitable earth. Include periodic verification of the ground path in the ESD control program.

Standards

Common connection point per IEC 61340-5-1. The 1 megohm resistor provides the current limiting described in IEC 61340-5-2 for the case of an operator touching an energized conductor.
