This charge plate set turns the EFM 822 or EFM 823 electrostatic field meter into a charge plate monitor for verifying air ionisers. The charge electrode meets the relevant standards with a capacitance of 20 pF.
The decay time from +1,000 V to +100 V or -1,000 V to -100 V is measured with the start-stop timer built into the EFM 822/823. Charging is performed via the included external ±1200 V HV converter. The field meter is not included in the set.
