Some joints sit so deep between connectors and heat sinks that a standard tip touches the neighbouring part. The 0102CDLF16L is therefore an extended version of the 1.6 mm chisel tip, with the same ERSADUR-LF coating as the rest of the 102 series.

Features

• Extended body at 1.6 mm chisel width, giving access to hidden joints without tilting the iron.
• Electroplated iron layer plus an extra chrome layer protect against corrosion and oxidation, which extends service life in continuous use.
• Good heat transfer relieves the heating element of the iron and prevents overheating and premature wear.
• Straight chisel shape, the common workhorse geometry for through hole and larger SMD joints.
• Suitable for lead free and leaded solder, so it works at mixed workstations.
