The Ersa i-Tool MK2 (0105CDJ) is a 150 W soldering iron with a micro high-performance heating element for the i-CON 1 (V) (0IC1100A, 0IC1100V), i-CON 2 (V) (0IC2000A, 0IC2200V), i-CON Vario 2 (0ICV2000...) and i-CON Vario 4 (0ICV4000...) soldering stations. The heating technology enables extremely fast heat-up from room temperature to 350 °C in approx. 9 seconds and from stand-by (280 °C) in approx. 3 seconds; the heating element (016100J) and the soldering tip (series 142) are separate from each other.
The iron is fitted with a 1.6 mm chisel-shaped ErsaDUR-LF long-life tip (0142CDLF16). The integrated Tip'N'Turn bayonet lock makes tip changes simple and fast and delivers a 20-25 % performance improvement compared with a screw connection.
