Upgrades an existing i-CON MK1 to the i-TOOL MK2 iron without replacing the station. The iron runs at 150 W and 24 V and reaches 350 °C from room temperature in about 9 seconds, or in roughly 3 seconds from 280 °C standby. The Tip'n'Turn bayonet lock changes tips without tools, and the supplied 383974 ceramic adapts an 0A52 stand to 0A59 level.

Total price
A working i-CON MK1 does not have to be scrapped just because its iron is outdated. This kit puts the i-TOOL MK2 (0105CDJ) on the existing station: 150 W at 24 V, room temperature to 350 °C in about 9 seconds and roughly 3 seconds out of 280 °C standby.
What the kit delivers
- About 9 seconds to reach 350 °C and around 3 seconds to recover from standby, so waiting time per joint stays short.
- Tip'n'Turn bayonet lock instead of a screw fitting, giving tool-free tip changes and, according to the manufacturer, 20 to 25 percent better power transfer.
- Heating element and tip are separate parts, so worn 142 series tips are replaced on their own while heating element 016100J stays in the iron.
- Supplied ERSADUR-LF long-life tip 0142CDLF16, straight chisel shape, 1.6 mm wide, rated to 450 °C tip temperature.
- Antistatic design and RoHS compliance, so the iron can be used at an ESD workstation.
- Ceramic 383974 included, converting an existing 0A52 stand to 0A59 level so no second stand is needed.
